Beowulf Text Messages

Was Beowulf ahead of his time?

Dateline: September 16, 2008.
The challenge for my students was to create a text message to either summarize the action in Beowulf or to put themselves in the story and send a message that might have fit into the story. The second part of the assignment was to make the message colorful and creative because my bare walls were in deparate need of decoration for Open House that night!
