Allowing students to ask questions of a teacher is always a test of courage! On the second day of school, I handed index cards to the students and allowed them to ask me a question. They could ask anything, but I let them know that I reserved the right to NOT answer!

- Ms. Myers, is that your real hair? (I hope he was referring to the color!)
- Where was you from?
- Your cat that is 21 years old--is that in human years or in cat years?
- Why did you want to teach HERE?
- How old are you? (I pleaded the 5th!)
- Will we have to read alot? (I checked to make sure, but this IS a British Literature class)
